Serpenti is an Italian-American designer who often draws from heritage to design for the future.
Collaborating with other young designers who were exploring the digital age of fashion sparked the designer's curiosity. The creator was excited about the infinite possibilities that digital fashion offered, which physical fashion could not.
The pieces in the collection were largely inspired by the Wes Anderson film, "The Grand Budapest Hotel." The color palettes, textures, decadence, and European romance in the film led to the maximalist design approach for the collection.
