Women’s Month Collection

DRESSX and the Fashion Impact Fund, a charity that supports women entrepreneurs leading educational initiatives to evolve a fashion ecosystem that values people and planet, have curated a collection of digital fashion garments by global female designers with the proceeds of sales to benefit UN Women Ukraine humanitarian response.

Originally, the partnership was in celebration of International Women’s Day to celebrate and amplify the work of women in digital fashion (#BreakTheBias) as well as mobilize finances to support women social entrepreneurs advocating for a new paradigm in the fashion sector - one that leads towards a fair and resilient world. In light of the current situation in Ukraine, the collaborators are supporting the efforts of UN Women as they stand in solidarity with the women of Ukraine, including those who had to flee their homes and separate from their loved ones, those who stayed to provide humanitarian support in extremely difficult circumstances and at great risk, and the women human rights defenders and activists who are making their voices heard in calling for peace.

UN Women is working closely with women’s civil society organizations, UN Resident Coordinators, and UN Country Teams in Ukraine and in neighboring countries in monitoring the situation to determine how to best meet the growing needs of women and girls. The 13 piece collective includes digital fashion designs by Diana Rose [Ukraine], Charli Cohen [United Kingdom], Risako Nakamura [Japan], Sharannya [India], Stephy Fung [United Kingdom], LOA [Germany], Elisa Pelizza [Italy], Gyurin Na [Seoul], Cooltrede [France], Nina Doll [Germany], Studio PMS [Netherlands], BalmLabs [Ghana], and TTSWTRS [Ukraine].

With a key focus on ‘People, Planet, Prosperity, and Partnership’, DRESSX is supporting the work of the Fashion Impact Fund to accelerate the fashion industry’s transition to an equitable, inclusive, and regenerative sector.
